“Take the shot, you #$%&^&@!“ She said she heard her mother say in her head before she aimed and shot her arrow and struck the demon dead on to help to save her friends from its grips. The above was taken from a movie I watched a few years ago. In another previous movie, a cop had a nervous breakdown, which was unable him to take the shot with his scoped rifle to free his wife from the bad guy. “Take the shot,” take the shot,” his fellow officers yelled. The bad guy got away but later was shot and killed. The cop redeemed himself after aiming and shooting the bad guy with marksman ability later in the show. David slew Goliath with a single blow because he aimed and took a shot at the giant with his stone in a sling. It was killed or be, killed. David prevailed.
I had to mention these scenarios because they seemed to be in my head for quite some time and comparison to our life today. Apart from David and Goliath, the other two were just made from fictional characters, but a sole message is portrayed here. What are you waiting for. “Just take the shot.”🎯
🎯OK. So I’m am an opportunist. I was not born with that trait, but as soon as I became older, I began to notice that there was more to life than what my parents taught me and what the world dictates what I should be. Go to school. Get a degree. Get a job. Live a great life. I did all the above and found out there are more things in life to achieve. Being average then and now is not my motivation. I see an opportunity, and I’m taking my aim. I’m taking the shot.
🎯Here’s some of the opportunity I took a shot at and prevailed. Affliate marketing programs where you sell products and opportunities. I am no longer working with these groups physically anymore. After some time, chasing the dream can tire you out. Online programs, networking with career minded individuals like myself I can see now and way into the future. Did I not mention AI a few blogs ago?
🎯I took a shot at investing a few years ago as in a group, and now individually. While many were sleeping, I formed my own Limited Liability Partnership(LLP). First and foremost, I learned to invest and put all I knew into my investments. My target was learning what my family and school weren’t teaching. I took the shot and prevailed.
Here are some of the reasons why so many failed to take a shot on learning to better their lives and to invest in knowledge and common sense, and leave the safety of their place of employment for good.
- 1. 🎯Fear. The fear of the unknown. The fear.. to venture off and do something different.
- 2. 🎯Money. Thinking that they need to have lots of money before starting something new.
- 3. 🎯Distraction. No focus. Easily persuaded and discouraged.
- 4 🎯Low self-esteem. Thinking that they are not capable of achieving greatness.
The above reasons are typical of the average person. With a lack of focus and laziness, nothing will ever be achieved whether some of the reasons are mentioned above or not.
🎯I was afraid at first, but I took a leap of faith🎯I started out with 0$ and made my first check🎯Distraction was there, but my goal was airtight🎯I gained confidence and high self-esteem when I got my first check.
Here is what will happen when you don’t take the shot now to put off until later. Later may never come. If you were inspired at that time;you may lose your confidence now. You may never ever get the opportunity to hit your mark.
If this post inspired you to go out there and venture beyond your comfort zone, go ahead and explore. You may be amazed at what you can do behond your fear line. Get your bow and arrow. Get your stone in a sling and hit your target dead on. I slew my demons years ago, and I’m always ready to hit that target many more times again. “Go ahead, you @#$%^&*@$ what are you waiting for. The targeted opportunity is in front of you. Just take the shot!”
To your success 🎯
