Hello everyone and Happy funday Sunday to you all. I hope you had a wonderful and profitable week last week. It’s the beginning of a new week, and it’s blogging time again.
I am going to seek why, from my experience, doing what I’m doing is not easy to do for some and harder to do for others.. and based this on some people’s opinions of making money online or anywhere there is money to make.
Low dollar offers
There is no debating this. Working online may not get you rich. If it does, it would take a lot of your time.. after time to make any sort of decent cash. After I shared an opportunity with one person, I received this feedback….”So you can earn a penny.” The opportunity was not for a penny, but I do understand. Sometimes, you may not even get any money for your time. I’ve taken some surveys where I was disqualified halfway through. This alone could make me want to quit taking surveys permanently or quit working online altogether.
I ran a local grocery store before. There are low-cost items like candy bars or icicles to higher cost items like toilet tissues, meat, and household products. Your online business may run the same minus products, but just for your time. The reason I mentioned grocery stores is that every item must be sold even if it is a low-cost item. Well, nothing but a single candy bar or small toy product will cost less or close to a dollar, but a sale is a sale that adds to your bottom line.
When I started working online, I started out with zero. I graduated over time to higher paying projects because I knew that if I stayed the course, I may be able to get a much higher payout.
Not enough offers
You may be disqualified from certain projects, and it may take some time to get another. Even if you made some money on one, it doesn’t mean that you will get another real soon. Most will just quit since it appeared to be time wasted and no money to earn. I gained confidence by staying the course. Staying the course will mean signing up on as many projects as necessary even if they will not pay me a lot or will even pay me at all. Here’s the catch. Play the numbers game. When you have more than enough in your portfolio, the better the chance that you may earn a decent income over time.
Since you have more than enough offers, even the so-called penny offers will add up over time while you wait to get the big payout. This grocery store mentality is that all payment is accepted, even the tiny ones.
Not knowing your whys
Most people quit since they never had a purpose in mind in the first place. Here’s my argument, if you do not know what you want, why complain when you don’t achieve anything. Goal setting is great when you are seriously considering making a certain amount of money online. Your time spent online is important as well. When you stick to your game plan, this will give you the confidence to achieve at an even higher level.
Now that my portfolio is big enough to earn, I set my goals. I now have daily, weekly, and monthly goals. This will add to my yearly goal moving forward. Here’s a nugget. Ask yourself why you are working online. Is it for making extra cash to supplement your job income, or is it to replace your job income altogether and wish to seek your time back with time and money.
Distraction
Well, your broke friends and family will definitely discourage you from moving forward. They may want you to “hang” out with them, and when you do, your mission will be over. They may think that what you are doing is just a waste of time, and depending on who you are, they may think that you are always a low achiever.
One person once asked me if I was rich as yet. This was a low mocking way to say that I’m just wasting my time. The weaker you are in your goals and achievements, the worse that you will just quit and go back to doing nothing with your free or spare time. As I mentioned above, this is not knowing your whys. Once you gain confidence, not even the naysayers will ever persuade you from moving forward to your goals and dreams.
The money concept
When you learn the concept of money and the reasons for it, you will be better educated on how to use it wisely. Many will toss their pennies or give loose chance away since to them, it only ways them down. I read earlier in the news that our landfill is filled up with coins worth billions that we so post humously toss by the wayside. Not many people will stop to pick up loose change. But if spotted a paper currency, even one dollar, will stop and pick them up. Loose changes are less, more or equal to that single dollar you are so eager to pick up. All forms of currency as long as it is legally in circulation are just as important, barring any.
Ask for help
Many will YouTube or Google help in their business. Group associations within your genre will help. Do not do your work alone. There are like-minded people like yourself who could be more experienced on your topic that will guide you along the way. Seek them out. See what they are doing and how they are doing it. Be intrigued by them. Be supportive. Be inspired by them. Copy their achievements when necessary.
I was blessed to have been mentored by high achievers during my start many years ago in affiliate marketing. I am now blogging because of that. I do garner a small salary from blogging, which some may think is a little low compared to other marketers online. But the most important thing is that I enjoy sharing my incites with everyone. Blogging is sharing. Blogging can also be a way to even get more knowledge from others who are miles ahead in achieving from my standpoint. Knowledge is power. Applying that knowledge is better from my online experience.
Anyone can make a good living online if they put their minds and hearts to it. Every penny counts if you have an entrepreneurial mindset. Get rich quickly are for the idlers who think that they are too good to grind it out and do the work. Once you learn the concept of money, you will build a great nest egg in the near future in whatever business you are in. So take these low paying offers, build a big network, and play the numbers game. Use your money and plain old common sense and be the greatest you can be as an online entrepreneur. I am still a work in progress, but I’m also having fun.
